A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their team in Queens as their new Director of Social Services. In this role, the Director of Social Services (LCSW) will oversee the social services and case management operations at a new Queens site dedicated to supporting families and children experiencing homelessness.

Transitional Housing Responsibilities: Oversee the social services program to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations Ensure program design supports effective assessment and client-centered services Supervise and guide staff and the social services team to deliver high-quality services Develop and implement compliance and quality assurance processes, including chart reviews Monitor staff and client activities in the DHS CARES system Coordinate internal and external trainings to support staff development Maintain strong relationships with funders and stakeholders (e.g., DHS, OTDA) Prepare and submit accurate, timely reports and participate in funder meetings and trainings Qualifications: At least 3 years of Supervisory experience in Social Services Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Required:
Bilingual in relevant Asian languages/dialects (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Bengali, etc.) Experience in Homeless Services, Supportive Housing, or related settings Familiarity with DHS/OTDA regulations and CARES reporting Experience working with diverse, underserved populations Knowledge of family issues and sensitivity to the needs of homeless families Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong communication, documentation, and group counseling skills
