Customer Service Specialist III - Misdemeanor Probation

Pasco County Public Services is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist III- Misdemeanor to join the team. This role involves responsible and advanced clerical and public contact work in obtaining, maintaining, and providing information regarding a variety of County operations. Provides a professional and courteous response via telephone, in person, in writing and on-line. Serves as first point of contact with anyone coming into the office. Verifies appointment inquiries and announces probationers to appropriate team member upon arrival for appointment. Obtains intake information from probationers and creates case folders. Maintains database of all probation cases and tracks case status and deadlines to ensure cases do not expire. Receives, screens and refers calls to appropriate team members, officials or departments. Tracks and files all warrant and closed cases. Assists all team members as needed. PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Three (3) years' of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact. One (1) year of experience using a personal computer and related software required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. ADA STATEMENT:
