The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Essential Job Functions

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution on customer service programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.

Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.

Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly manner, refunds issued accurately using correct payment methods, returned merchandise processed or staged correctly.

Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.

Ensure Zipline messages communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks delegated and completed as assigned.

Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule; changes/deviations approved by management; clocking in/out per company policy.

Perform all store opening/closing duties: day end procedures, verify/securing money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights on, lock doors and safeguard building, arm/disarm security alarms, secure delivery vehicle(s) in designated area.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Required

Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Automotive systems and repair knowledge.

ASE Certification.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
