– BioSpace Join the newly opened 2nd Shift shop floor team at Civica, Inc. at our Petersburg, Virginia facility that manufactures essential generic sterile injectable medications. The role requires a dedication to quality, compliance, and patient safety. Job Description

The Quality Shop Floor Tech will provide on‑the‑floor quality support, review manufacturing documentation, and help maintain processes that meet or exceed FDA requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform quality review of materials and components received. Inspect finished goods. Ensure adherence to Civica SOPs and batch records on the manufacturing floor. Review manufacturing and cleaning records in real time. Identify and document nonconformances, deviations, or discrepancies. Provide support as required to all manufacturing and processing areas. Maintain the site’s quality systems to enable reliable supply of medications. Support manual visual inspection of filled products. Promote a quality mindset and quality excellence throughout activities. Promote a safety mindset and focus on safety for all operations. Maintain SOPs and training in cGMPs for QA shop‑floor support. Apply ALCOA+ principles to documentation. Keep current with FDA and Civica requirements as they evolve. Identify and collaborate on problem resolution. Basic Qualifications and Capabilities

High school diploma. Strong organization and execution skills. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Experience using various software and electronic applications. Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to work in a small, fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work autonomously within established guidelines, procedures, and practices. Committed to delivering high‑quality results and overcoming challenges. Continuous learner who seeks opportunities to build skills and share knowledge. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Quality Assurance experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires speaking or hearing, use of hands or fingers, and manual tasks such as lifting and moving up to 25 pounds. Regular standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.
