Job Summary and Qualifications The Supply Revenue Analyst is central to implementing the “Revenue Enhancement Plan”, reviewing operational and financial information to analyze current Supply charging methodologies, and making recommendations for changes and approvals. Works with Compliance to ensure consistent supply charging practices. The Supply Revenue Analyst works with the Shared Service Center Revenue Integrity Manager/Compliance Team for review and approval of the supply charge master for proper coding of supply items to ensure accurate reimbursement and the supply item files for proper charge vs. non charge classification. The Supply Revenue Analyst continually obtains, measures, and reports Supply Revenue performance for the division based on the company-wide operating indicators as well as ongoing maintenance of all supply related revenue attributes.
What you will do:
Ensure accurate collection of supply charge financial and performance data for each SVG facility
Responsible for development, implementation and approval of supply item chargeable attributes, and charge practice modifications.
Review supply charge master for proper revenue code and HCPCS assignment to ensure accurate reimbursement
Collaborate with the Shared Service Center Revenue Integrity Manager to obtain approval for all supply item chargeable attributes and supply procedure code development/modifications.
Collaborate with facility Compliance Team/designee to identify and communicate all supply item charge practice modification opportunities
Communicate supply item charge practices, trends and revenue performance to the VPSCO and Regional CFOs
Reviews facilities supply item charge algorithms on a consistent basis and recommends modifications to compliance for approval
Interpret trends in performance measurement data and recommend financial and/or operational changes to maximize the facilities financial and operational effectiveness and efficiency
Continual review of facility supply item files to ensure proper system and item classification
Serve as supply chain division subject matter experts on supply item chargeable attribute assignment and operational practice
Provide educational assistance to facility supply chain director and facility department manager on chargeable
Review supply charge master for proper GL/Subaccount code assignment to ensure accurate coding
Apply HCPCS, Rev code and GL/Subaccount attributes within SMART as required.
Maintain reference guide for field teams
Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”
What is required:
Bachelors Degree required (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance) Required
Experience with chargemaster management Required
Experience within the healthcare industry Required
Experience performing basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconciliation of figures and transcribe accurately Required
Experience researching, interpreting and analyzing statistical data and preparing estimates Preferred
Materials management/purchasing experience Preferred
