12 Hour AM or NOC Caregiver – Ocean Beach
Pay Range: $20,800 – $47,840 per year ($20–$23 per hour). Hours: 12‑hour AM or overnight shifts. Location: Ocean Beach, San Diego County.
About the Role Cheer Home Care is actively hiring caregivers who will deliver compassionate non‑medical home care to the elderly and disabled. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.
Responsibilities
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting and personal hygiene.
Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments.
Offer dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, hospice care and other specialized support.
Maintain light housekeeping and organization of client’s home.
Provide catheter and ostomy bag care.
Offer hourly and 24/7 support as needed.
Qualifications
Cell phone with internet access.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursable).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Certifications preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.
Female caregiver required for 12‑hour daytime shift (for the specific listing).
Comfortable with dogs.
