About the Hospital Alan B. Miller Medical Center, opening in Spring 2026, will be a neighborhood hospital with state‑of‑the‑art facilities. It will join UHS’s regional network and include 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building, and a helistop. The campus will offer Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services.

Position Overview We are seeking a Sous Chef to collaborate with the Executive Chef and produce world‑class food for our VIP clients.

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and planning.

Oversee all food production to meet quality and safety standards.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff.

Act as the Executive Chef in their absence.

Collaborate with clinical and dietitian staff.

Oversee all food receiving and inventory management.

Qualifications Education Requirements:

High School and above

Experience:

1–3 years within a healthcare acute facility in a Sous Chef or Executive Chef role and/or managerial role.

Skills:

Culinary management.

License / Certification:

CDM/CFPP highly desired; culinary degree/diploma preferred.
