What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners The Senior BT plays a key role in the clinical and operational initiatives of ACP staff, working alongside both BCBA’s and Behavioral Technicians. The Senior BT represents a high level of quality and excellence with respect to ACP’s clinical and operational standards and will act as a role model and a resource for Behavior Technicians.
Perform all the duties of a Behavior Technician while acting as an experienced role model for others.
Notify BCBA of any stimuli needs for programs.
Take data on parent behavior targets when instructed by BCBA.
Probe any new skills for client when instructed by BCBA.
Identify possible functions of behaviors when collecting ABC data for BCBA.
Maintain 100% fidelity on BIP implementation (Reinforcement Schedule, Token economy, Ability to define all vocabulary on BIP).
Maintain 100% accuracy for all SD’s for current targets for your client caseload.
Build rapport with all therapy team members and demonstrate leadership to problem‑solve and improve any concerns.
Give encouragement and vocal positive statements to other therapists.
Ensure reliability data minimum 90%.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior and proven experience as a Behavior Technician required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.
Additional Requirements
No prior criminal history.
Ability to utilize technology.
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows.
Ability to operate basic office equipment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
