Job Title
Administrative Assistant
Work Location Onsite – Building 36, Puget Sound, WA
Duration 5 Months (high possibility for an extension after budget approval)
Daily Schedule & OT Estimate Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, approx. 8:30–4:30 / 9–5 based on core hours. Sponsor approved up to 5 hours/week as a buffer.
Pay Rate $25 to $30/hr
Key Responsibilities
Broad team support across multiple OPG groups based on weekly needs.
Coverage during vacations and peak workload periods.
Support for events, including catering coordination, delivery pickup, room setup.
Provide additional bandwidth during RTO rollout and space moves beginning late February.
General team support (no calendar support required at this time).
Core Responsibilities
Perform complex administrative functions for all levels of management and external partners.
Coordinate meetings, events, and general office support.
Manage department and facility‑related operational tasks.
Support procurement of goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, and vendor coordination.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the department/group.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Candidate Requirements Disqualifiers
Professional maturity and common sense to interact appropriately with leadership.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs (e.g., moving monitors, office equipment).
Motivation and comfort interacting with large groups and diverse personalities.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Best Fit
Microsoft experience (full‑time or vendor) preferred.
Experience in similar corporate environments (e.g., Amazon, Meta).
Strong Microsoft tool proficiency: Outlook calendaring, inbox prioritization, Visio, printing.
1–2 years of administrative experience.
Demonstrated professionalism and maturity.
Average Candidate Profile
General administrative experience.
Limited exposure to fast‑paced, high‑volume corporate environments.
No prior Microsoft or large tech‑company experience.
Top 3 Must‑Have Hard Skills
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong communication skills.
Professional presence and maturity.
