Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) Location: Huntsville, Alabama. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for this role within the Integrated Air Missile Defense Organization.

You will monitor trends, variances, and impacts through insightful reports and risk assessments, determine their effects on production rates, and drive process improvements while spearheading program initiatives and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change‑driven activities in accordance with industry standards.

Lead studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives.

Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine the business case.

Develop and establish lead time requirements.

Facilitate and ensure integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, and techniques considered best practice across the industry.

Act as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.

Position Details Onsite: 100% onsite.

Shift: 1st shift, 4x10 schedule (Monday – Thursday).

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

More than 5 years of experience in Program or Project Management.

More than 5 years of experience working with and partnering with cross‑functional teams on projects and initiatives.

Experience with RIO (Risk, Issues, and Opportunities) in project planning.

Experience interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Experience using Program Management Best Practices.

Conflict of Interest Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Relocation Relocation assistance is not available; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay & Benefits Pay range: $118,150 – $159,850. Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees may enroll in health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid leave programs, subject to eligibility factors such as location and date of hire.
