Job Summary This role combines the analytical rigor of a Business Analyst with the executional focus of a Product Owner. The individual will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions deliver maximum business value while aligning with Product vision and strategy. This position not only outlines the initial specifications but also coordinates activities throughout the SDLC.
Job Description
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment. Create the project charter/vision document (problem statement, stakeholders, success criteria, high level requirements, constraints, etc.)
Documentation: Elicit, analyze, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and document feature business requirements and clear user stories with acceptance criteria through interviews and workshops.
Progressively add details to the user stories with acceptance criteria, tests, and visual models to create shared understanding with the team
Identify, document, and manage assumptions, issues, and risks to project success.
Backlog Management: Collaborate to create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business value and user needs.
Development Team Engagement: Participate in planning, refinement, and demos; provide ongoing clarifications to the development and quality team throughout the development process to ensure their understanding of the functionality and desired outcomes
Acceptance & Release: Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and approve releases.
Provide input and guidance related to regression testing activities
Coordinate and lead demo sessions of in-progress software with internal and external stakeholders
Support: collaborate to create user training documentation and external client demos/communication as needed
Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and 4 years relevant work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
5-7 years working as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment; Graphic Arts industry experience
Wireframe tools such as Balsamiq
Strong emotional intelligence - ability to see other perspectives, self-reflect, and find innovative ways of meeting business goals.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Ability to simplify user demands and work in fast moving environment
Highly organized, self-starter, with strong analytical and communication skills
Basic SQL skills, comfortable working with data, both analyzing existing data sets, as well as validating test results or triaging issues by inspecting data in the database
Experience with agile processes and tools such as Rally, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
Knowledge or understanding of how web applications work. Exposure to application components: UI, web services, server architecture, basic networking, databases.
Experience with mobile applications is a plus

PAY STATEMENT The national pay range for this role is listed in the posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
