Role Description
This is a contract-based, remote role for a Landman (Project Manager). The Landman will oversee land operation projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure seamless execution of land services such as mineral and leasehold ownership verification, lease acquisition, due diligence, and title curative work. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, managing project milestones, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while maintaining effective client communication and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of land management services, including mineral and leasehold ownership, lease acquisition, and title curative processes
Proficiency in preparing runsheets, abstracts, and conducting due diligence in the oil and gas industry
Experience in project management, including coordinating teams and maintaining timelines
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients
Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of oil and gas exploration and land services
Ability to work independently with a results-oriented mindset
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience; prior experience in the energy or land services industry is highly preferred
