Job Overview
Night Security Guards will monitor Nashville Shores overnight to ensure the security and safety of guests and the property. Patrol park property, enforce policies, and respond to guest questions or concerns. Aid in emergencies and provide a safe and inviting environment. Pay & Employment
Hourly rate: $16.00 per hour. Employment type: Full‑time Seniority level: Entry level Job Duties
Maintain continuous surveillance of the property while on duty. Answer phone calls placed to the Night Security phone. Ensure only scheduled guests are on property (RV Park and Cabins). Ensure guests follow rules and policies while on property. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor while working and interacting with guests. Ensure that all guests adhere to general park rules. Remain knowledgeable and respond to questions or concerns of guests. Resolve conflicts or guest complaints by using good, sound judgment. Assist park management in case of an emergency. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities
Problem Solving – identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information efficiently; develop alternative solutions when needed. Communication – greet each and every guest in a warm and inviting manner; remain calm and communicate effectively with others; use walkie‑talkie to communicate with main office and managers; complete documentation clearly and concisely; read and interpret information quickly. Planning/Organizing – fill downtime with appropriate tasks; work efficiently. Quality Control – demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; monitor own work for quality assurance. Dependability – follow instructions and respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; complete tasks on time or notify supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; be consistently on time for scheduled shift; ensure responsibilities covered when absent. Minimum Age
Must be at least 18 years of age. Certificates and Licenses
TN Unarmed Security license preferred but not required prior to interview. After a successful interview, applicant will be required to complete an unarmed security training course and complete the online registration process on the state’s website. An additional email with more instruction will be sent once a decision on hiring has been made. Essential Job Functions
Physical Demands: While carrying out duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle equipment, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally may be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; may lift up to 25 lbs. Work Environment: Regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions and outside weather.
