Primary Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Order Management:
Handle incoming requests from customers via phone, email, and online platforms. Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and confirm receipt of requests while maintaining consistent communication regarding order progress and delivery timelines.
Ownership of Sales Tasks : Take initiative in managing assigned sales and service requests from start to completion. Proactively follow up on outstanding quotes and orders to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Continuous Learning : Participate in both internal and external product and technical training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of our offerings and industry standards.
Operational Support : Contribute to internal tools, records, and shared databases used for cost tracking, sourcing materials, and improving process efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration : Partner closely with account managers and other departments through calls, meetings, and shared projects to strengthen client relationships and ensure alignment across teams.
Customer Interaction : Provide a friendly, solution-oriented experience for walk-in and call-in customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination : Assist in checking, staging, or shipping orders when necessary. Coordinate deliveries and expedite shipments to meet customer deadlines.
Process Improvement & Communication : Identify and report process challenges or customer issues to management. Offer constructive feedback and ideas for improvement during team meetings and planning sessions.
Professional Conduct : Maintain a service-first attitude with both customers and coworkers. Approach all interactions with integrity, courtesy, and accountability.
Technical Collaboration : Work with internal departments such as Accounting, IT, and Operations to help resolve issues efficiently and maintain high service standards.
Additional Duties : Participate in after-hours or emergency support rotations when required. Perform other responsibilities within the scope of inside sales as directed by management.
Qualifications
2–3 years of inside sales experience
in the industrial equipment sales industry required
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required; equivalent industrial or technical sales experience accepted
Proficient in quoting, order entry, purchasing, and vendor coordination; experience with ERP systems (e.g., P21) and Microsoft Office.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Professional, reliable, and proactive with a team-oriented mindset.
Willingness to participate in limited after-hours or on-call support as needed.
Background check and drug screen required post-offer.

Compensation & Schedule
Salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 base (80% base pay / 20% commission pay). This position is overtime eligible.
Standard schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (may include occasional on-call, 24‑hour rotation)
