Position Summary
Warehouse/Production Team Leader responsible for coordinating activities of workers in aluminum plate saw processing including pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders.
Responsibilities
Assigns duties and monitors work for accuracy and performance.
Leads the team in scheduling orders, expediting critical shipments, and maintaining on‑time performance.
Establishes and maintains rapid turnaround and short lead times.
Manages routine equipment maintenance for the production cell, follows TW Corporate guidelines, and promotes a highly safe, efficient work environment.
Supports Branch Management in fostering a positive employee culture, continuous improvement mindset, and excellence in customer service.
Provides written and oral work direction to the warehouse team.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Addresses errors and complaints in a timely manner.
Operates in supervisory role.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; experience in metals industry helpful.
Ability to read, speak, and write in English; interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work effectively with common PC programs such as Excel and Word; ability to learn mainframe program (Metalware).
