Job Summary
SSM Health is looking for an Echo Ultrasound Technician in Fenton, MO.
Schedule:
full time days
Pay Range:
starting at $32.48/hour (daily pay available)
Shift Differentials:
available for night, weekend, and additional shifts
Location:
MO-SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton, MO
Certification Requirement:
Completion of Cardiac Sonography program and ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography
Relocation Assistance:
available for qualifying candidates
No Experience Required
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols, including both adult and pediatric echocardiography.
Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Promptly submit high‑quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring correct lead markers and patient data/history.
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other departmental areas.
Perform frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry tasks.
Qualifications
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
