Job Details
Sign On Bonus:
Up to $10,000 paid in full on the first paycheck.
Schedule:
Full-time days.
Pay Range:
Starts at $32.48/hour; daily pay available.
Shift Differentials:
Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Location:
MO-SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, Fenton, MO.
Relocation:
Assistance available for qualifying candidates.
Certification:
Completion of a Cardiac Sonography program and ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac Sonography required.
Job Nature:
Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics according to accepted protocols; performing either adult or pediatric echosonography.
Work Shift:
Day Shift (United States of America).
Responsibilities
Monitors patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
Maintains adequate supplies and verifies all equipment is in proper working condition; ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history).
Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly department including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in the department.
Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.
Qualifications
No experience required.
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
