Summary We are seeking a PRN Infusion Pharmacist to provide flexible coverage across our Downtown and High Resort Infusion sites. This role is perfect for a pharmacist with infusion and IV room experience who thrives in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, verify, and dispense IV medications and compounded sterile preparations in compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
Provide clinical support and medication counseling for infusion patients.
Float between sites as needed to support staffing coverage and operational continuity.
PRN availability with Monday-Friday coverage required; may expand to weekends as program growth allows.

Responsibilities
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, PI program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Compounds, packages, labels, and dispenses medications.
Advises patients and families on the use of medications including dosage, side effects, and composition.
Maintains professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-services, and workshops.
Monitors medication use for appropriateness.
Oversees the activities of technicians, interns, and students.
Participates in education programs for pharmacy staff, attends meetings as required, and participates on committees as needed.
Participates in training pharmacists, technicians, students, and residents.
Consults with and advises healthcare providers regarding optimal and cost-effective utilization of drugs.
Performs other functions as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Education specialization: Pharmacy
Registered Pharmacist
Responsible for on-call, weekend, night, and/or holiday coverage as required on a rotating basis.
Preferred: Experience in infusion pharmacy and IV room operations.
Additional consideration for candidates with infusion-related accreditations (e.g., Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist [BCOP], Sterile Compounding Certification, or similar).
