$16.00/hr - $16.00/hr
Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a part‑time position at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center Southwestern Indiana providing direct care to individuals with disabilities in our Aspire Day Services. No previous experience needed; training provided. Monday‑Friday 8:30‑2:00 (Wednesday 8:30‑4:00).
Responsibilities
Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility
Administer medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as trained and prescribed
Implement behavior programs and documentation
Assist with activities and outings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or ability to pass a reading test
Experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently
Must pass a physical, drug screen, TB test, reference checks, background checks
