School Speech Therapist – Lakeville, Minnesota
A contract position is available for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting located in Lakeville, MN. This role is ideal for professionals holding credentials such as SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) and SLP‑CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to therapy sessions and student progress
Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications and Experience
Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
Experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
