Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Location : Wichita, KS

Job Position : Director of Rehabilitation (PT) for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Summary : Responsible for all aspects of therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of the company, under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

Provide best possible therapy services to patients consistent with established standards of practice and company/department procedures.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility/facilities.

Maintain knowledge of and adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines, certification requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and resident rights.

Establish facility‑specific procedures with the interdisciplinary team and train therapy staff on them.

Ensure therapists provide services in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards of practice, company policies, and productivity standards.

Ensure therapists adhere to regulatory requirements regarding documentation and billing of therapy services.

Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully with patients and family members.

Perform other duties as assigned, effectively supporting the position’s responsibilities and organization’s interests.

Education & Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.

Active PT or OTA license in state(s) of practice.

Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal leadership, and communication skills.

Results‑oriented with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
