Come join our team! This role provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The nurse directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards. The nurse delivers patient/family centered care, focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs, including assessment, development of diagnoses, outcome identification, planning, interventions, coordination of care, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation of goals and interventions consistent with MUSC policies. Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with patient privacy and professional behavior. Participates in a professional practice model, shared governance, adherence to standards of care, peer review, and ongoing professional development promoting leadership and clinical excellence. Coordinates care delivery through care management principles and identifies clinical priorities to improve patient outcomes.
