We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This role combines traditional family medicine with weight management services, offering a holistic approach to patient care. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages while developing personalized weight loss plans and guiding lifestyle changes. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical exams
Review diagnostic test results and discuss treatment plans
Provide evidence-based care for acute and chronic conditions
Develop customized weight loss plans, including prescribing treatments
Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle factors
Prescribe medications and treatments per state and federal guidelines
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance
Offer counseling and support for long-term health goals
Participate in team meetings and continuing education
Required Skills and Experience
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois or PA certification
Certification as FNP, ANP, or appropriate PA credential
Strong communication and patient education skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
Prior experience in family medicine, weight loss, or primary care
Familiarity with holistic and preventive care strategies
