The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for developing operational staff competencies in Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and Basic Quality Tools (Core Tools). This role leads, implements, and follows up on continuous improvement projects based on Lean Six Sigma methodologies, supporting the company’s operational excellence strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver training programs for operational and administrative personnel in technical disciplines, including Basic Quality Tools, ISO 9001:2015 Auditor and Lead Auditor, and Lean methodologies (Green Belt and Black Belt), ensuring proper follow-up, evaluation, and application of learning outcomes.

Manage the company’s continuous improvement project portfolio, supporting project definition, guiding implementation, monitoring progress, making adjustments, and presenting results to C-Level leadership in alignment with the operational excellence model.

Support the design, development, maintenance, control, and auditing of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Advise operations and administrative teams in identifying improvement opportunities using Lean methodologies and process mapping tools.

Conduct data analysis and improvement interventions to reduce costs, shorten processing times, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Participate in the implementation and ongoing management of the company’s learning platform focused on fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Create, standardize, and document processes and training materials for the company’s knowledge management system.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a trainer for operational staff in Lean disciplines, ISO 9001, or related methodologies.

Certifications in Lean Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing, including

Master Black Belt , and

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

certification.

Bilingual proficiency in

English and Spanish

(written and spoken).

Valid

U.S. visa .

Willingness and availability to

relocate to the United States .
