Job Summary Self-motivated Black Belt or Master Black Belt to identify, inspire, and implement Elbit America strategic initiatives around customers, employees, financials, and business processes. The successful candidate will coordinate across Elbit America departments to drive operational excellence and a culture for continual improvement. Responsibilities include: initiative ownership, project identification and qualification. Reporting success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating Elbit America improvements.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Facilitate LEAN and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects following Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) with staff and key stakeholders as directed.
Provide mentorship and training of targeted staff on Continuous Improvement Tools, Templates and Strategies.
Mentorship of LSS Green-Belt candidates, including DMAIC project identification, tollgates, and through completion.
Analysis of proposed projects and continuous improvements efforts to determine cost-benefit and return on investment as part of day-to-day activities.
Support of large-scale LEAN / LSS transformational projects as needed across all Elbit America locations (up to 25% travel may be required).
Prioritization work and daily activities to complete competing continuous improvement efforts on time, including the use and reporting of project scheduling timelines and current status.
Facilitation and direct support of continuous improvement meetings and communication events required to support Elbit America improvement strategy and deployment.
Education, Experience & License or Certification
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 6 years of experience in Project Management
Certified in Lean Six Sigma as a Black Belt
Skills and Abilities
PMP/PMI Certification or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Tools, Excel; Power Point; Word
Ability to garner buy-in and engagement from key stakeholders and business partners
Change agent that can lead and effectuate in all operational situations and across all levels
Travel/Physical Requirements
Up to 25% travel may be required.
