The
Service Business Development Center (BDC) Administrator
is responsible for developing, processing, managing, tracking, and following up with service customers. This role supports the dealership’s service department by managing customer relationships, increasing appointment show rates, improving customer satisfaction, and driving long‑term service retention.
Responsibilities
Manage customer relationship (CR) processes for the service department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Observe, install, and train approved service CR processes.
Partner with leadership to develop continuous improvement plans through observations and meetings.
Gather and maintain accurate service customer data to support follow‑up and retention efforts.
Maintain knowledge of service offerings, pricing, promotions, and manufacturer service programs.
Make outbound and follow‑up calls.
Schedule and confirm service appointments.
Follow up after service visits to review customer satisfaction.
Address customer concerns and elevate major issues as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong active listening and customer service abilities.
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to type efficiently.
Basic math and computer skills.
CRM experience preferred but not required.
