Position Summary A rapidly growing construction services company is seeking an experienced DFH Estimator to join a Pre‑Construction team in Woburn, MA. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing accurate, high‑quality estimates. The Estimator will support pre‑construction efforts for Doors, Frames, and Hardware projects, ensuring proposals and bids are comprehensive and precise.
Primary Responsibilities
Review all project documents, plans, and specifications
Quantify all DFH products according to specifications, door schedules, and floor plans
Build hardware sets within estimating software and request material pricing based on quantities
Prepare detailed proposal letters including clarifications and qualifications to clearly define included and excluded scope
Review proposals with Preconstruction Manager before submission and participate in internal and client scope review meetings
Communicate with clients throughout the estimating process and follow up on submitted proposals
Attend weekly schedule/status meetings with the Preconstruction team
Participate in internal product and process training
Engage in career advancement initiatives, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities within the market
Education and Experience
