RS Interior Install Technician I – GAC Dallas
Unique Skills : Positive attitude, eagerness to learn safe aircraft removal, installation, fabrication of interiors. Coordinate with supervision & inspection to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, vanity ledge panels).
Use material tracking system to create part demand, track squawks, and sign off paperwork.
Follow standard operating procedures using hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, brakes, and maintain shop equipment.
Maintain safety, 5S, housekeeping, use PPE, address unsafe conditions.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or related experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to work any shift.
Able to climb ladders & stairs, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 lbs.
Computer literate.
