ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide fast, friendly service to all Price Chopper customers.
Responsible for the operation of the meat department in the absence of the meat manager.
Cut all meat in accordance with trim "specs" and guidelines and ensure the quality and freshness of product in the meat case to promote optimal sales opportunities.
Provide excellent customer service (both internally and externally) on an ongoing basis.
Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
Ability to pass a cutting test.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills.
High School Degree or equivalent.
6-12 months of related experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Exposure to Cold Environment Constant 5-8 Hours
Pivoting Constant 5-8 Hours
Pushing/Pulling Constant 5-8 Hours up to 75lbs
Squatting/Kneeling Occasional 1-3 Hours
Lifting Frequent 3-5 Hours up to 50lbs
Pushing/Pulling Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 2400lbs
