Assistant Meat Manager – Price Chopper Supermarkets – Market 32, Brattleboro, VT
Salary:
$15.75 – $27.50 per hour
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500.
Summary Provides fast, friendly service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the operation of the meat department in the absence of the meat manager. Cuts all meat in accordance with trim specs and guidelines and ensures the quality and freshness of product in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing excellent customer service (both internally and externally) and courtesy on an ongoing basis. Must adhere to all sanitation guidelines.

Ensure quality and freshness of product in the meat case.
Provide excellent customer service (internally and externally).
Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow‑through to achieve desired results and objectives.
Ability to pass a cutting test.
High School Degree or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills.
6–12 months of related experience.
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Physical Requirements
Bending frequent: 3–5 hours.
Exposure to cold environment constant: 5–8 hours.
Grasping/finger movement & dexterity constant: 5–8 hours.
Pivoting constant: 5–8 hours.
Pushing/pulling constant up to 75 lbs.
Squatting/kneeling occasional: 1–3 hours.
Standing constant: 5–8 hours.
Twisting constant: 5–8 hours.
Walking constant: 5–8 hours.
Lifting frequent up to 50 lbs.
Pushing/pulling occasional up to 2,400 lbs.
