Assistant Swim/Dive Coach

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of swimming pool health regulations, laws, and ordinances governing public swimming pool operation
Good physical condition and stamina required
StarGuard ELITE Lifeguard Training Certificate (Lifeguard). Water Safety Instructor Certificate or Starfish/Ellis (Instructors/Coaches)
Must be able to work consistently from mid‑May through early August with minimal time off.
Personal cell phone is preferred to clock in and out of shifts
Position Overview $22.10/hour; 30–35 hours per week
Assist head coach with practices, meets, and team operations
Maintain a safe and fun learning environment for participants
May perform responsibilities of swim lesson instructor or lifeguard when needed
The primary function of this position is to provide safety and coach or teach aquatic skills and activities. You must be able to resolve conflicts, adapt to participants' needs/behaviors, respond to emergency situations, and enforce policies and procedures.
Applicants must provide a copy of their certifications or prove current class enrollment (Lifeguard and Swim Instructor candidates).
