Orange County Soccer Club is seeking an experienced
Video Producer/Videographer
to join our content team and help bring the energy of our club to life through high-quality original video. This part-time role is approximately
20 hours per week , with the opportunity to
grow into a full-time position .
Video Production & Editing (Weekly Content)
Produce, shoot, and edit content including:
Player features / narrative pieces
Hype videos, sizzles, promos, and quick-turn edits
Sponsor / partner features
Highlight compilations and social-first edits
In-stadium content as needed
Create video content optimized for multiple platforms:
Social (all major platforms), broadcast, and in-stadium
Contribute original content ideas tied to team news, storylines, and current events
Maintain consistency with club brand guidelines and creative direction
Matchday Coverage (Home Matches + Event Coverage)
Capture dynamic video content of pre-match, match action, fans, halftime, and post-match scenes
Be present and ready to shoot 2 hours before kickoff through 1 hour after the final whistle
Follow club-provided shot lists and adjust in real-time based on match flow and key moments
Work in sync with the social, photo, marketing, and content teams to deliver footage aligned with OCSC’s visual identity
Upload all raw and edited footage to the club’s shared drive within 24 hours
Requirements
Proven experience filming professional or high-level soccer matches (portfolio required; soccer-specific work required)
Must love the game of soccer and understand it.
Strong shooting fundamentals: framing, pacing, movement, and soccer-specific storytelling
Ability to work quickly in a live event environment while capturing both cinematic and documentary-style footage
Strong editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop preferred)
Comfortable working nights/weekends as dictated by match schedule
Reliable transportation to Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver fast-turn content
Preferred
1–3 years experience with a professional sports team or equivalent production environment
Equipment
Must own professional-level camera gear suitable for fast action + low-light environments
Ability to capture high-quality audio when needed
Knowledge of best practices for media management and file delivery
