Job Overview

Location and Language Immediate need for Spanish interpreters in the Omaha area.
Requirements
Fully bilingual
Excellent communication and listening skills
Familiarity with medical terminology
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPAA compliance
In‑person interpreters only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally
Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
Must have access to a printer
Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
Background checks and drug screens required
Schedule is PRN (as needed), part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) and flexible based on interpreter availability and preferences. Applicants must be available M‑F 7 AM‑5 PM as services are typically needed.
Independent Contractor This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
Proof of Vaccination Requirement All interpreter candidates must provide proof of vaccination to comply with our clients’ health and safety requirements. Medical or religious exemptions will be considered. Please submit proof or exemption documentation prior to your interview. All medical information will be handled confidentially in accordance with applicable laws.
