Healthcare organization located in New York, NY (10028) seeks a General Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS certification).
We are looking for a professional with 3+ years of experience in independent operation of ultrasound equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examination to the physician.
This is a permanent role. Hourly pay rate between $45.00 and $55.00 (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 5 days per week.
Job will start Jan. 26 th, 2026.
Responsibilities
Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations
Review ultrasounds, synthesize ultrasound information, medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician
Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the technologist’s care
Assist with the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department
Establish and maintain ethical working relationships with all interrelating hospitals
Perform all requested sonographic examinations as requested by the attending physician
Qualifications
3 years' prior Ultrasound experience
ARDMS certified
Excellent organizational skills
Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with different people and departments
Must be very organized and able to manage time extremely well
Must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
