Description We're looking for a PCT/Medical Scribe to join our Valley Ortho team! This is a part‑time, remote position working 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Provides real‑time medical documentation for physicians by observing and documenting patient encounters directly into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) during consultations.
Assists licensed health‑care providers and nursing staff with general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, and maintaining medical records.
Manages the EMR system, focusing on improving patient‑care efficiency related to documentation.
Performs patient‑care tasks according to clinic standards and under the delegation of a registered nurse or licensed health‑care provider.
Performs all clinical duties per licensed health‑care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 3 months of hire.
Required to successfully complete the Assessment‑Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHRs) within 30 days of hire.
Skills:
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Laboratory and/or X‑ray experience preferred.
Experience:
Must have been employed for two of the last three years in a health‑care facility under the supervision of a licensed health‑care provider.

Salary Range $20.41 to $30.02 per hour. Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
