Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance! As our Medical Surgical Nurse at St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units, providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency. Responsibilities
Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well‑being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements
Education Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs Experience Requirements
One year recent RN inpatient experience Functional nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Licenses/Certification Requirements
RN license required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Physical Requirements
Medium work – exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs frequently, and/or 10 lbs constantly Where You’ll Work

Pay Range
$30.58 – $42.99 /hour
