About Us Certified Medical Sales is a recognized leader in the service, maintenance, and verification of medical gas systems. We support healthcare facilities in maintaining compliance with NFPA 99 standards and ensuring the integrity of their medical gas delivery systems.
Position Summary As a Certified Medical Gas Verifier/Technician, you will be responsible for performing verification testing/maintenance on medical gas systems, document findings, and ensuring systems are installed and functioning according to applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance and inspection of medical gas pipeline systems
Accurately document service activities and inspection results
Verify and test medical gas and vacuum systems per NFPA 99
Document findings and produce compliance reports
Coordinate with contractors and facility staff
Maintain calibration of test equipment
Travel to healthcare facilities (company vehicle provided)
Qualifications
Must have a valid/current NITC ASSE 6040 or 6030 certificate.
Individuals are required to always maintain a valid certification.
Thorough knowledge of NFPA 99 and ASSE 6000 series standards.
Experience with pressure testing, purity testing, and system diagnostics.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Clean driving record (must be insurable). No DUIs/DWIs.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to travel regularly and work flexible hours as projects require.
Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, and legible handwriting.
Ability to work early mornings (must be on time) and off shifts as needed.
Consistent on-time attendance is an essential function of this role.
Represent CMS as a professional ambassador of the brand.
Experience
2+ years in the medical gas field.
License/Certification
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
