Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

S1400 is a 24-bed acute care nursing unit that provides care to medical patients that may or may not require telemetry monitoring. This unit cares for a wide variety of medical issues, including Alzheimer’s/dementia, psych, sepsis or other advanced infections, fall/syncope, palliative/ hospice, stroke, COVID-19, cardiac diagnosis: atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, etc.

Our unit population consists of patients ages 20 to geriatrics. In addition to inpatient status, the staff also monitors and cares for patients who have been placed in an observation or outpatient extended stay status.

SCHEDULE

Part Time Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Every other weekend and rotating holidays

New Grad LPN (0-1 year of LPN Licensure)

Experienced LPN (1+ years of RN Licensure)

$31.67-$41.82

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed Practical Nurse Certification Required

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required

Education: GED or High School Diploma required
