$22.90 - $37.25 / hour

Job Description
To provide direct patient care under the supervision of manager and therapists.
Coordinate/cooperate with assigned supportive personnel.
Assist with discharge planning.
Document pertinent information with Occupational Therapist supervision.
Communicate with staff, patients and families.
Participate in educational activities, support departmental operations, and perform special projects.
Coordinate assignments of Rehab Techs, work-study students and volunteers.
Qualifications
Graduate from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or practicing under a limited permit as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy required.
Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
