Behavioral Health Advanced Clinician - ED Response Team
Location: Salisbury, MD
Facility: TidalHealth Primary & Specialty Care
Department: ED Behavioral Health
Schedule: Full Time – Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; Shift 4P – 12:30 A.M.
Position Summary The Behavioral Health Advanced Clinician is responsible for conducting clinical assessments and evaluations of patients presenting in psychiatric crisis. The assessment includes psychiatric history, mental status examination, and determination of need. The clinician provides clinical diagnosis and collaborates with a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner to define the treatment plan that meets the patient’s needs. Essential functions include ensuring the clinical soundness of crisis services through assessment of need, monitoring of care, and connection to appropriate community resources.
Position Requirements Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field.
Experience
5‑7 years post‑graduate work‑related experience preferred.
1‑2 years in crisis assessment and evaluation preferred.
LCSW‑C or LCPC required.
Work Schedule
Full‑time day and night positions available.
Ability to have a set schedule available.
Ability to work weekends preferred.
