Standard Weekly Hours 40
Summary Operates the radiographic equipment during interventional radiology procedures. Functions in collaboration with physicians, physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. Accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policy, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with Radiation Safety Officer.
Schedule Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00am to 4:30pm weekdays, with a variable day off each week. Once trained, this position includes rotational on-call coverage nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
This job serves patients from infancy (neonates) to 18 years of age
Minimum of 2 years radiology experience
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
ARRT Certified
Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
CPR - BLS required
PALS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire
