Job Summary The MRI Technologist will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with ARRT standards and department policies. Responsibilities include patient care, positioning, image acquisition, and equipment safety.
Responsibilities
Conduct MRI scans following ARRT and department protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, PACS, and RIS.
Collaborate with radiology staff and medical personnel.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active ARRT registration at time of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA within 90 days.
MRI registration from ARRT within one year.
Kentucky State Radiation Operator Certification.
Preferred: current MRI registration and BLS.
Work Details
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays only.
Position type: Full‑time staff, grade 10.
Physical requirements: regular lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs; standing, walking, and occasional exposure to noise, radiation, and hazardous chemicals.
Job‑related travel: less than 10% of time.
Benefits Sign‑on bonus and hourly pay based on experience. Minimum hourly rate adjusted to $30.10 per hour.
