We are seeking a highly motivated Operator to join our Agronomy Operations team. The Operator will assist with agronomy operations and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
Executing processes and operating machinery, including loading chemical, seed or fertilizer; frequent operation of skid loaders, tractors/mowers and forklifts. Inspecting buildings, grounds and equipment to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance and complete repair work. Monitoring equipment, operating control systems, processing samples and using computer systems to input and record data. Interacting regularly with customers, peers and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement and promote teamwork. Adhering to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA, vehicle fleet safety and DOT regulations. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a CDL. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. English proficiency. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to perform physical job duties: bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting. Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions: heat, cold, dust, loud noise; use PPE including respirator. Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) and confined spaces. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays and different shifts. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in agriculture. Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, talk or hear, taste or smell. Frequently required to reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
Regular exposure to fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, risk of electrical shock; noise level usually loud.
