Compliance Assistant - Affordable Housing Trellis Mgmt provides a high level of property management services for residential apartment communities for over 60 properties across the Twin Cities and suburbs. We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill our full-time Compliance Assistant position, at our Corporate Office in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities The Compliance Assistant is responsible for all functions of resident certifications, to include resident meetings, applicant notices, collecting and calculating verifications and producing the 50059s/TICs utilizing Yardi software. The Compliance Assistant will also be responsible for analyzing and reconciling reports/discrepancies produced by the Enterprise Income Verification System (EIV). In addition, the Compliance Assistant will perform other reasonable business‑related duties as assigned. All Trellis Mgmt employees are expected to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with residents, customers, clients, co‑workers and supervisors.

Qualifications Previous property management and/or multi-housing Section 8 and Section 42 program experience

Required.

Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office required. YARDI experience a plus.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.

Must have valid driver’s license with current vehicle insurance and a reliable vehicle.

Pay dependent on qualifications and experience.
