The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital is a Magnet® designated Level I Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center. It manages 58,000 visits per year and transports approximately 1,000 patients per year from Flight for Life® Colorado. As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit.
You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorize work procedures, assign duties, and charge shift. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and ensure high‑quality care delivery. Act as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates. Assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family. Act as a professional role model for all staff by demonstrating ethical, legal and professional nursing conduct. Promote the optimal health, well‑being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act. Actively serve on unit as an RN and may take patient assignments based on unit and patient needs and acuity. Be personally accountable for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements
RN License required; current state nursing license or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact. Colorado only: RNs working under a multi‑state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency. Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. BLS from the American Heart Association required or within 8 weeks of hire. ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS – required upon hire or within 6 months of hire. One year RN ED experience required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs. Specialty‑specific nursing skills and knowledge base. Hours
7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Physical Requirements
Medium work. Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly. Where You'll Work

$37.31 – $59.51 per hour. Sign‑On Bonus
Eligible for $20,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience. Eligibility requires full‑time or part‑time position; PRN positions are not eligible.
