We are seeking a warm, reflective, and collaborative Fully Qualified Childcare Teacher to join our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. This role will work in close partnership with the classroom’s Education Specialist to plan, implement, and adapt inclusive curriculum and routines that support the developmental and learning needs of all children. The ideal candidate is a creative and caring early educator with a background in child development and a strong commitment to inclusive practices.

What is it that we do? Includ(Ed) provides early intervention-focused inclusive preschool where all are welcome. Collectively, our staff provides the support, care, and education that enable typically-developing children and children with disabilities to learn, play, and thrive together.
We also provide in-home early start therapies and Infant Education to families around the county.
Key Responsibilities
Co‑lead an infant, toddler, or Pre‑K classroom with up to 12 children, including children with disabilities
Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
Help implement and adapt daily routines, play‑based learning experiences, and individualized supports
Observe and document children’s play, development, and social‑emotional growth
Collaborate with the Education Specialist to reflect on classroom practices and co‑plan responsive learning experiences
Support the development of Individualized Learning Plans in collaboration with the team
Foster an inclusive, sensory‑friendly, and culturally responsive environment
Maintain a safe and organized classroom in compliance with licensing and health regulations
Participate in ongoing professional learning, team meetings, and family engagement activities
Qualifications
12 post‑secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development completed, with passing grades, at an accredited or approved college or university AND at least 6 months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program. OR
A current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with the appropriate age‑level endorsement issued by the CDA National Credentialing Program of the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition AND at least six months of on‑the‑job training and/or work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program. OR
One of the following Child Development Permits issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing: Child Development Associate Teacher Permit; Child Development Teacher Permit; Child Development Master Teacher Permit.
3 of the 12 units completed must be related to Infants and Toddlers
Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with children under age 6 in a classroom or inclusive setting
Knowledge of child development and inclusive, trauma‑informed, and strength‑based practices
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and collaboration
Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside a multidisciplinary team
EMSA approved CPR/First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting children with disabilities and/or implementing inclusive strategies
Bilingual or multilingual is a plus
Preventative Health coursework completed
Compensation & Benefits Job Type : Hourly up to 40 hours per week
Pay : $20‑$31/hour based on experience and education
