Location Cleveland, OH (lead projects in Columbus, OH)
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple design teams in daily operations.
Develop staffing needs and distribute work to balance workload.
Collaborate with team leaders/project managers to monitor project health (scope, schedule, budget, etc.).
Monitor group workload, utilization and billable hours.
Work with Civil Service Line leaders to identify additional staffing needs (e.g., training, personnel).
Mentor staff while executing office and company growth plan.
Prepare proposals/contracts and manage the project lifecycle.
Deliver work tasks on time.
Coordinate with MSG staff across simultaneous services such as Surveying, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Landscape Architecture, Funding Strategies/Grant Writing and Construction Administration.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Record of managing multiple civil design engineers or teams, projects and disciplines.
Proven management process/style.
Willingness to mentor and teach younger staff.
Private development experience.
