Role Description This is an At-will, full-time, exempt and on-site role for a

Digital Marketing Manager

located in Branson, MO. The

Digital Marketing Manager

is responsible for executing Explore Branson's digital advertising program and selling placements to tourism partners, working closely with Explore Branson's agencies to ensure media plans are carried out effectively and efficiently, and overseeing digital marketing efforts to include eNewsletter deployment for the CVB, multimedia asset creation and distribution, and work on strategic projects with the Director of Marketing.

Qualifications

Manage the digital advertising program on ExploreBranson.com and eNewsletter, selling advertisements to tourism-facing businesses and coordinating with external agency to traffic ads.

Actively grow Explore Branson web advertising program and expand partner participation to reach revenue goals.

Work with external agency partners on paid digital campaigns and coordinate marketing materials with Director of Marketing.

Assist with strategic marketing efforts such as Bandwango program and America 250 specific campaigns.

Create monthly Leisure eNewsletters for Explore Branson and oversee email marketing efforts for the marketing team.

Collaborate with marketing team on the creation of the annual Vacation Guide publication, including concepting, copywriting, and layout.

Assist Digital Team in production of photography assets as needed.

Conduct regular communication with other departments such as the CVB Sales team and the Branson Chamber team.

Actively research and seek new ways to improve digital marketing efforts as well as apply for appropriate awards for past efforts as agreed upon by Director of Marketing.

Assist Director of Marketing with occasional accounting duties such as expense reports and invoicing as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Important Functions

Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences, as necessary.

Attend and/or participate in company training and events.

Actively look for improvements in processes and practices.

Due to the organization sometimes having substantial secretive information and having access to such information, the position may require that a non-disclosure, confidentiality agreement be signed.

Travel Out-of-town travel is around 10% of the job.

Technical Experience Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in digital marketing. Advertising/Sales experience is a plus.

Required Education and Certifications

Position requires a bachelor's degree in business communications, marketing, computer information systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a degree substitute.

If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess a current Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage.

Supervisory Responsibility No supervisory responsibilities. However, organizational effectiveness depends upon a strong teamwork environment.

Advanced knowledge of the Branson area.

Familiarity with trends in travel and tourism.

Knowledge of media landscape within the region, including print, broadcast, and online sources.

Ability to present an overall professional image.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to hold and grip objects.

Consistently sit for long periods of time.

Visual ability sufficient to operate a computer.

Hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person and by telephone.

Occasionally perform bending, squatting, sorting, kneeling, and reaching to ground level and overhead as required for such tasks as retrieving boxes of brochures.

Occasionally lift, grasp, carry, push or pull up to 30 pounds.

Ability to climb stairs while carrying objects up to 30 pounds in weight.
