Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium has a hiring preference for qualified Alaska Native and American Indian applicants pursuant to P.L. 93‑638 Indian Self Determination Act.

Summary Under general supervision provides administrative support for the DEHE Construction team. This can include invoice approvals, project set up activities, timekeeping, researching expenditures, budget reviews and data entry. Ensures processes and practices are efficient, effective, compliant, and directly support ANTHC strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Timekeeper for the field and Anchorage department staff, including data entry and review of hours and activities into payroll system. Creates and submits invoices for field stipends.

Updates Field Purchasing Logs, identifying, researching and resolving unpaid field purchases with vendors, field purchasers, and accounts payable.

Reviews invoices and contacts the responsible person for coding information and approvals for assigned electronic invoice workflow.

Files project documents at the direction of construction staff. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

Knowledge of general invoice processing.

Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.

Knowledge of collecting and reporting data.

Knowledge of applicable computer system software programs and office equipment.

Knowledge of account reconciliation.

Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing various software including electronic spreadsheets and database applications.

Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines.

Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.

Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.

Skill in effectively working with teams managing and leading staff, and delegating tasks and authority.

Minimum Education Qualification High school diploma or GED equivalency.

Minimum Experience Qualification Non‑supervisory – Two (2) year experience of performing business, finance or accounting duties. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
