What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide hands‑on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees to foster a positive work environment
Enhance safety performance on shift by promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Manage shift maintenance activities and resolve equipment breakdowns to maintain uninterrupted plant operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness across operations
Monitor and manage operational costs and yield in collaboration with the Plant Manager
What is Required (Qualifications)
Prior experience in a plant supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with private fleet management/transportation
Strong customer focus and people management capabilities
Demonstrated success in employee relations and cross‑functional collaboration
Experience managing safety performance and programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in food manufacturing
Understanding of supply chain practices, metrics, and data analysis
Familiarity with Lean Thinking concepts and practices (5S preferred)
Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
Excellent communication and project management skills
